Computer prescription slips are provided, listing your medications. To ensure accuracy when requesting prescriptions, we recommend posting these slips in the “Prescription Box” at reception.
Slips may be sent by mail, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
You can also order your prescriptions by email. The Practice email address is email@example.com Please note you can only order prescriptions via email. Any queries should be directed to Reception on 622854.
Alternatively you may order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration available from Reception.
Various local chemists are also happy to order your medication for you. Please speak to your chemist for details of this service.
We use the right hand side of the prescription to inform patients of practice closures etc.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
